Arsenal have no interest in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic during the January transfer window.
The Gunners were recently linked with the Serbia international, and it was reported that they had agreed terms with Fiorentina.
However, the story has been dismissed by Goal.com, who claim that the Gunners are not exploring a deal for the 21-year-old.
The north London club have no plans of signing a new marksman until next summer as they are expected to keep Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette’s contract expires at the end of the season. The Gunners are prepared to run down his deal rather than selling him in January.
Meanwhile, Arteta does not consider Vlahovic as a potential target for the summer transfer window despite his immense progress.
The Serbian is a traditional striker who works in and around the box. Arteta prefers a more versatile centre-forward to lead the line.
Vlahovic is not the best in terms of holding-up play. He also has a weakness in his distribution and does not offer much defensively.
