Arsenal are ready to make a summer approach for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to The Sun.
The England international has experienced an injury-plagued campaign for the Toffees, limiting him to just 10 appearances in the Premier League thus far.
Despite this, he is one of the players on the Gunners’ transfer shortlist ahead of the summer, with manager Mikel Arteta eyeing at least new strikers in the squad.
Calvert-Lewin was valued in upwards of £75m last summer, but the Toffees may need to lower their valuation. The Gunners could face direct competition from West Ham.
The Hammers are yearning for a top-class marksman, having spent the past few transfer windows without pursuing one. This has cost them a potential Champions League push.
