Arsenal are working on a potential deal to sign Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The Belgian had an average 2021/22 season with the Foxes, but he continues to remain on the radar of the north London giants.
Talks were held with his agent in December, and Romano claims that the Gunners are now entering negotiations for him.
Tielemans will enter the final year of his Foxes deal in July, and he has no plans of putting pen-to-paper on a renewal.
The Gunners are plotting an opening bid of around £25m, but the Foxes are likely to hold out for £30m to sanction his sale.
In the past, Real Madrid were heavily linked with him, but they have now turned their attention towards Aurelien Tchouameni.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also looking elsewhere at the moment, leaving the Gunners as the favourites to land him.
Tielemans was previously keen on Champions League football, but he is now willing to play in the Europa League with the Gunners.
