Chelsea have their sights on signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, Gazzetta dello Sport claims.
The Blues are expected to sign a new central midfielder, considering the dip in the performances of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho last term.
Thomas Tuchel ideally wants an experienced face, and Gazzetta report that the club are interested in signing Rabiot for a cut-price fee.
Rabiot has been a mainstay for the Bianconeri over the past three years, but is expected to leave amid the lack of contract talks.
His current deal expires in the summer of 2023. The Bianconeri are willing to sanction his sale for a fee between £13-17 million.
The Blues are said to be among the front-runners to sign the Frenchman, considering Tuchel previously managed him at PSG.
He was a regular under the German tactician in 2018/19 until a club suspension due to disciplinary reasons made him out-of-favour.
Rabiot has been long linked with a Premier League move. He was previously a target for Arsenal. They seem unlikely to return for him.
