Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Nigerian has had an injury-plagued campaign in Italy, but has still impressed with 18 goals and six assists from 31 games.
Osimhen is now being linked with a bigger challenge elsewhere, and La Repubblica claims that Napoli are willing to sell him for €100m.
At least two Premier League clubs are keen on landing the 23-year-old, but the Red Devils are said to be in pole position to secure his services.
United are looking to sign a high-profile striker this summer. Osimhen is a traditional number nine, but he could suit Erik ten Hag’s system.
The Dutchman has played with an out-of-out striker in Sebastien Haller at Ajax. The Frenchman netted 34 goals in the recent campaign.
Ten Hag may feel he can get the best out of Osimhen, but there will be no discounts with Napoli unlikely to lower their asking price for him.
