Pogba open to new Man Utd deal?

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that he enjoys playing for the club amid speculation over his future.

The Frenchman has less than nine months left on his existing deal, and the club have yet to make progress over a renewal.

United are still optimistic of keeping him, and the midfielder has said that he enjoys playing his football for the club.

He said: “I am always smiling, as I enjoy playing here. I am someone who often smiles, so that means I generally have fun.”

Pogba has been offered a weekly wage package of around £400,000-a-week, but he has yet to give the green light.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on his situation, and can negotiate pre-contracts in January.

United are keen to avoid such a situation, and fresh negotiations are planned with agent Mino Raiola in the coming weeks.

Pogba was a second half substitute against Atalanta in midweek, but he is likely to start the league game against Liverpool.
